Boston's Maggie Dee arrives on the scene with much to offer. Praised for the unique quality of her voice and the depth of her songs' intricately crafted lyrics, Maggie aims to connect with her audience on a deep level. With the recent release of her 5-song demo, Whatever Happened to the Girl (Sleeping Giant Recording), Maggie's following continues to grow as she puts forth original material. Claiming influences from Aretha Franklin and Janis Joplin, to Patty Griffin and P.J. Harvey, Maggie expresses raw vocal energy charged with a blues-rock edge in her soulful songs. Currently honing and developing her craft at Berklee College of Music, Maggie can be found sharing her gift at local coffeehouses and clubs, as well as in the streets and subway stations of Boston.
