MORE ABOUT THEE WYTCHES
They were over indulged, over educated offspring of America's affluent. They came of age during the mid-60s and they blew their tuition on guitars and drunks.
The end product was savage rock 'n roll by teenagers who had damn near choked on the silver spoon. Suddenly they had become the disenfranchised, rebellious, punks who fled the proper grooming of prestigious prep schools to become local hereos dabbling in witchcraft, drugs and three cords.
They turned their collective backs on their pre-ordained paths, cranked up the fuzz for 18 months and then simply disappeared leaving behind a recorded legacy that defies time. They have not gone quietly.
