MORE ABOUT THE SENDERS
The Senders began as a two man acoustic guitar band in 1979—then called ARA. In 1983, they changed the name of the band as their style had evolved and they were playing more Rock & Roll. The secret to the Senders’ success is the infectious sense displayed in their performance that they love what they do, and their loyal fans, that they call friends. Influenced by the likes of The Beatles, The Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Tom Petty, and ZZ Top, these guys have been obsessed with their music since childhood. One of the most popular bands in southern New England, the band is made up of David Lema, Paul Lozeau, Dan Rider, Mike St. Pierre, and Rick Santoro.
