MORE ABOUT HEY NOW MORRIS FADER
Winners of Best Pop Act in Worcester Magazine's 2009 music poll, Hey Now, Morris Fader are central Massachusetts' pre-eminent piano-driven power-pop band.
Originally formed as a one-off project between keyboardist/singer Brooks Milgate and drummer Alex Sacco, the duo continued on, writing powerful, melodic pop songs with an honest and heartfelt approach. As the buzz surrounding Hey Now, Morris Fader grew, long time colleague Justin "Pez" Day was drafted for bass duties, further filling out the already striking sound. Following the release of the group's second album, "Ride The Fader", the trio recorded a four song demo EP that introduced guitar into the mix for the first time. Happy with the results, the group recruited Upstate New York transplant Pete Zeigler for full time guitar duties. Combining elements of Ben Folds Five, Superdrag, U2, and Boston, with their own unique approach, the band is poised to explode on a national level.
Featuring a bombastic live show that leaves crowds both energized and elated, Hey Now, Morris Fader has an unwavering commitment to song craft and musicianship. Hey Now, Morris Fader are the future of American Power Pop.
