MORE ABOUT PAULA KELLEY
Paula Kelley is already well known in indie-pop circles, first for her involvement in Drop Nineteens & Hot Rod, and more recently as the leader of Boston power-pop favorites Boy Wonder. In 1999 Paula set out as a solo artist, and December saw the release of Paula's first official solo single, "Why Christmas," on Rhubarb Records. Recording of a dozen or so new songs is already underway, and the teaser EP, A Bit of Everything, was released in July 2000. A full-length disc is planned for release later in the year. Pennyblack Music in the UK writes : "A Bit of Everything is an enjoyable, thoroughly pleasurable experience and has her looking back on her versatile past, but also on finding new ground in the present and looking tantalisingly towards the future. With songs as strong as these, Everything is an exciting prospect." Download
