MORE ABOUT ABSENCE OF FAITH
A dynamic Boston based melodic hard rock band comprised of four very talented musicians. AOF's influences range from, but are not limited to Tool, Pink Floyd and Alice in Chains. AOF was born in 1999, when veteran local rockers, James Michael Garrity and Jimmy Saulnier have teamed up with innovative guitarist Ben Carroll and heavy hitting drummer Noel Mackensen to create what critics are calling the next incarnation of heavy rock.
AOF's haunting lyrics and impressive vocals are complimented by edgy but imaginative guitar riffs, intelligent and melodic ear crushing bass and a hard hitting rhythmic back beat. Absence of Faith's freshman effort, a polished and tight self-titled EP is attracting fans and critics alike and promises to be a winner. Dark and addictive, Absence of Faith's sound is well rounded touching on metal, rock, funk and progressive jazz, but they are certainly not limited to any one style. Check out AOF, see and hear what everyone is talking about.
